Pennsylvania Court Reporters Association

I was wondering if any officials out there were members of a union for their respective counties. If so, please respond so I can get an idea if most of you are satified with your contracts and/or negotiations; what, if anything, would you change. I would greatly appreciate it!

First, I'd like to thank you for checking into the Forum! I hope you find it useful.

I am an official in Phila. We are not unionized. We do have an association (Philadelphia Official Court Reporters Association) that works on our behalf when issues arise. You may have read about the mandamus-to-pension program that POCRA negotiated in the December edition of the Outline.

I am an official at the Montgomery County Courthouse, and we are not unionized. I know that Bucks County does have a union, and I do know a few officials there if you need some feedback.

I would really appreciate some feedback from anyone you know in Bucks. My steward says she thinks they have a pretty good contract but would like some more info, if possible.
